Family and Friends Coaching Practice, located in New England, is an innovative, educational, supportive, non-profit coaching service for potential, new and existing parents and their friends.

Parents are not given a script or a blueprint on how to parent.  Many, if not all, parents come to the role of parenting influenced and challenged by the beliefs, attitudes, and practices of their own parents.

Our services will assist the participants by examining and challenging their inherited subconscious beliefs, attitudes and practices about parenting by exploring and identifying how those beliefs, attitudes and practices  affect them as parents today.

Parents' friends can play a significant role in the development of the child.  We recognize and understand, specifically culturally, that some biological parent(s) will introduce and include their friends into their children's lives as either surrogate or extended family members.  These friends will play a significant role in teaching, protecting and raising the child just as the biological parent(s).  Ultimately, these friends will be considered extended family members and will exemplify the proverb, "It Takes a Village to Raise a Child".  This concept will create a melting pot of exposure for the child to experience differences with race, age, gender, religion and sexual orientation.  We strongly believe that no parent can parent alone and will create a community of trusting individuals to support them with their parenting.  Therefore, we encourage all who actively participate in the child’s life to participate in our educational and supportive services with the biological parent(s).
